- April 1: TridenX Li-Ion Xtra now available. HID bright and LED though, this new headlight system features a higher capacity Li-Ion battery that last 5 to 24 hours for avid cyclist, or competitive riders involved in 24 hour races. Contact your local bicycle dealer to order today.
- March 1: Rapid IQ smart chargers now available for Night Rover NiMH Xtra. The Rapid IQ charges the NiMH Xtra battery in less than 5 hours, prevents overcharging, and uses a color changing LED to indicate when the battery is charging or fully charged. The Rapid IQ is $39.95 (p/n: 3P10-L1008) and can be ordered by contacting CygoLite customer service.
- Feb 1: HIFLUX series get LED upgrade. The HIFLUX series are now using the latest 3rd generation LEDs making them twice as bright as before while keeping the same run time. HIFLUXs with these brighter LEDs are labeled accordingly on the outside of the box.

Oct 15: CygoLite Introduces new Rover II LED headlight systems. Using the latest High-Brightness LEDs (similar to the LEDs in the TridenX and DualCross Pro), the Rover II LED systems are brighter than the original LED systems while being more competitively priced.
