  • Dec 1: CygoLite - TridenX used at the “41st SCORE Baja 1000” Motorcycle Race

    • CygoLite’s TridenX served well for one of the Baja 1000 racers, who made a very strong finish at the prestigious race among the motorcyclists.  He quoted, “The unit worked great, in fact when coming into Ensenada to finish, the last three miles it was completely fogged in and I had to turn off the race lights on the bike and use only the CygoLite.”

    Congratulations to the racers who did such a great job at the race, and we are very happy that CygoLite did well to serve their needs!!

  • Nov 9: “CygoLite sponsored, Team SOAR, places 4th at the Gold Rush 24 hour Challenge.”

    Congratulations to Team SOAR for your efforts in central California’s Gold Rush 24 hour Challenge, on November. Despite the harsh weather and grueling conditions, team SOAR, paddled, climbed and road for 32 hours to place 4th in this annual challenge of endurance.

  • Oct 1: At the 2008 Interbike Show in Las Vegas, Cygolite continues to climb in both popularity and reputation in the bicycle light industry by attracting a record number of visitors! Go CygoLite!

  • Sept 1: MityCross LED light is available in September. With the whole unit - headlight, battery and mounting bracket - tipping the scale at a mere 240 grams, the MityCross is the lightest and the brightest dual LED lighting system created by CygoLite.

    Jul 1: Trion 600 coming this Fall. The highly anticipated Trion 600 features HID brightness and Li-Ion power in a compact one piece design.

  • Jun 15: Rover II frame mount series now available.  The popular Rover II LED series now comes with a smaller frame mount battery to free up your water bottle cage.

  • May 15: Get intense LED brightness for under $100 with the new Hi-Flux LED. The Hi-Flux II LED features a 3rd generation LED to shine brighter than a 10 watt halogen for over 3.5 hours. This and the deluxe Hi-Flux LED Xtra are both available June 1st.

  • Apr 1: TridenX Li-Ion Xtra now available. HID bright and LED though and now 5 hours long, the TridenX Li-Ion Xtra features a new High-Capacity Li-Ion battery for extra long run times. The new Li-Ion battery lasts 5 to 24 hours for avid cyclits, or competitive riders invovled in 24 hour races. Contact your local bicycle dealer to order today.

  • Mar 1: Rapid IQ smart chargers now available for Night Rover NiMH Xtra. The Rapid IQ charges the NiMH Xtra battery in less than 5 hours, prevents overcharging, and uses a color changing LED to indicate when the battery is charging or fully charged.   The Rapid IQ is $39.95 (p/n: 3P10-L1008) and can be ordered by contacting CygoLite customer service.

  • Feb 1: HIFLUX series get LED upgrade. The HIFLUX series are now using the latest 3rd generation LEDs making them twice as bright as before while keeping the same run time.  HIFLUXs with these brighter LEDs are labeled accordingly on the outside of the box.

  • Jan 1: Happy New Year from Cygolite! We all look forward to continue providing our customers with the latest and most innovative lighting technology to keep you riding through 2008.

  • Nov 15: Spare parts for new LED systems now available! Batteries, smart chargers, and helmet mount kits for the new TridenX, DualCross Pro, and Rover II LED series are not available through our online spare parts website.

  • Oct 15: CygoLite Introduces new Rover II LED headlight systems. Using the latest High-Brightness LEDs (similar to the LEDs in the TridenX and DualCross Pro), the Rover II LED systems are brighter than the original LED systems while being more competitively priced.

  • Oct 01: Helmet mount kit for DualCross Li-Ion and DualCross Pro Li-Ion now available.
    The kit (p/n HLMT-DCV2) is $19.95 and includes the quick release helmet bracket, velcro straps and 3” extension cable. It can be orde#cc0000 by calling customer service at (714) 437-7752.

  • Sept 26-28: Interbike 2007 Las Vegas, NV
    CygoLite gets great reviews while showcasing the new High-Brightness LED systems: TridenX LED, DualCross Pro and Rover II LED.

    Now twice as bright, the DualCross Pro features brighter light and longer runtimes.

  • Apr 29: CygoLite now accepting old CygoLite batteries for recycling.
    Contact CygoLite customer service to send in your old CygoLite battery for proper recycling. Customers that send CygoLite batteries in for recycling can get discounted prices on the replacement battery.

  • Mar 11: Daylight savings Time begins.
    If storing lighting systems for the spring, remember to get them a full charge and recharge them every 3 months they are not in storage.

  • Jan 30: CygoLite introduces new one piece Rapid IQ charger compatible with both 110v and 240v outlets

  • Nov 01: The Helmet mount kit for the DualCross 200 and 300 LED lighting systems is now available through CygoLite. The kit includes the helmet bracket and velcro straps. The mount is tool free, attaches to the helmet quickly and allows the light to transfer from the helmet to the handlebar in a few seconds. Call CygoLite for details (714) 437-7752.
