Mounting Questions

Q: Do any CygoLite systems come with a helmet mount kit?

A: The TridenX and Nitro XM both come with helmet mount kits, the remaining lights come with handlebar mounts.

Q: Is the helmet bracket's vertical beam angle adjustable?

A: Yes, the vertical beam angle is adjustable by bending the helmet bracket forward or back to your preferred vertical beam angle.

Q: Can I bend the helmet bracket?

A: Yes, the helmet bracket is intended to be bent forward or back to adjust to your preferred vertical beam angle. To withstand mulitple bends, the bracket is made from a durable 19 gauge steel plate then rubber coated to add grip and prevent helmet scratch.

Q: Do all CygoLite systems come with handlebar brackets that fit oversized handlebars (31.8mm diameter)?

A: All CygoLite systems released in 2006 and later come with handlebar brackets that fit oversized handlebars, any systems release before 2006 (Night Rover halogen series and Nitro 200 & 300) come with standard sized handlebar brackets.

Q: My old CygoLite bracket will not fit on my new handlebars, what can I do?

A: You can upgrade your old bracket to the new oversized handlebar bracket that we offer as a spare part. This can be ordered by contacting CygoLite direct or by ordering the bracket on the spare parts page of the CygoLite website.
