In 1991 a group of cycling engineers saw a need for their technical expertise when it came to bicycle lighting systems. By combining the latest technological innovations with clean classic designs, we developed a line of lighting systems that made CygoLite synonymous with innovation and quality. Fast forward into the 21st century and we're still leading the way. Our Focus
Like any cyclist, CygoLite engineers want to enjoy the ride. That’s why they spend countless hours making lights brighter, lighter, easier to use, and more affordable. Because in the end, our focus isn’t about riding on the best technology, it’s the best rides through technology.
Our Technology
- LED
The longer the ride the better, which is why CygoLite completely switched to LED technology on all our high-end lights. Not only do LEDs create a whiter light, they are more efficient with power, longer lasting and more durable, translating into super compact systems that provide hours of intense light, on the roughest terrains, hour after hour, year after year.
- BATTERY
A light shouldn’t just shed light it should be light, which is why CygoLite systems use high capacity Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) and Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. Small enough to strap on the stem or underneath the top tube, our batteries will last through hundreds of charges for consistent light you can depend on.
CRAFTMANSHIP
Not all light companies can claim craftmanship like CygoLite. Since 1991 our engineers have designed, every light from the ground up, from the sleek exterior aluminum casings down to every copper trace of the internal electronics, ensuring a cyclist’s practicality and craftmanhip like no other.
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Rechargeable batteries ensure years of use and saves the environment from discarded disposable batteries. Investing in rechargeable lighting systems saves money and our environment which makes sense for all of us.
